Who are SUNS?
Service User Network Swindon (SUNS) is a local charity in Swindon run by mental health service users, with the aim of providing opportunities for service users to have a voice about the care we receive in Swindon.
We aim to support, train and encourage mental health service users to speak out about their experiences of mental health services.
What can SUNS offer you?
SUNS offers :
- Space and support to build confidence and be heard
- Weekly “have a voice” groups where you can talk about your experiences whilst taking part in fun activities
- Opportunities to influence change within mental health services
- Training to help you gain confidence
- A quarterly newsletter with information on what’s happening and ideas from others on how to cope
