The Mental Health Research Network (MHRN) support research projects relating to mental health. MHRN also encourage those with personal experience of mental health problems to work with them on research projects.
MHRN also run Service Users in Research, through which you will be paid for your involvement in research projects.
SUNS staff have experience in assessing and supporting mental health research projects, and would be happy to give any advice or support, in order to help you get involved in these research projects.
SUNS has a number of volunteers working to support service users, either at the SUNS office or by volunteering at the Swindon Listening Line.
We also accept volunteers who wish to work towards care qualifications.

As a charity SUNS relies on charitable donations to ensure that we can continue to offer support and training to service users and health care professionals.
SUNS organises charity events in Swindon such as bag packing at a local supermarket, charity concerts and Karaoke nights. As well as participating in SUNS organised charity events, you can also organise your own sponsored event, to raise money for SUNS, through virgin giving.
